Ecwid coupons and discounts are simpler than most coupon sites make them look: there’s no working public promo code, but paying yearly cuts Venture from $35 to $29 a month, Business from $65 to $49 and Unlimited from $149 to $119. That’s a saving of up to $360 a year, and registered nonprofits can get 6 months of Venture free. Below are the five real Ecwid offers, today’s prices, how to claim them, and which plan suits which kind of seller.
I checked every price on this page against Ecwid’s own pricing page and Help Center on 20 October 2026, in US dollars. Older versions of this page promised 30%, 50% and 55% codes, a Buy One Get One Free deal, a free plan and a $15 Venture plan. None of those exist on Ecwid’s site any more, so I’ve removed them.

Content Outline
Business yearly: $49/mo, save $192 a year
Up to 2,500 products, marketplace selling, subscriptions, abandoned cart recovery and 2 staff accounts, billed $588 a year instead of $780 on monthly billing.
Business is the plan I’d pick for a growing store, and it has the biggest yearly discount in percentage terms, at about 25%.

Starter: $5/mo, the cheapest way into Ecwid
Sell up to 10 products, add a store to any website and pick from 70+ templates on a free company.site domain, at $5 a month whether you pay monthly or yearly.
Starter is a cheap way to test Ecwid before you commit to a bigger catalog.

Venture yearly: $29/mo, save $72 a year
Up to 100 products plus digital goods, Instagram and Facebook selling, discount coupons for your shoppers and live chat support, billed $348 a year instead of $420.
Venture is the first plan that lets you run your own coupon codes, so most small shops start here.

Unlimited yearly: $119/mo, save $360 a year
Unlimited products and staff accounts, in-person selling through POS integration, priority support and up to 500 promotions, billed $1,428 a year instead of $1,788.
Unlimited gives the largest dollar saving on this page, but only makes sense for big catalogs or shops that also sell in person.

Nonprofits: 6 months of Ecwid Venture free
Registered nonprofit organizations can apply through the form linked in the FAQ on Ecwid’s pricing page and get the Venture plan free for 6 months.
That’s five real offers. None of them needs a code: the yearly price shows up as soon as you leave the pricing toggle on Annual.
Ecwid Pricing 2026
Ecwid, now part of Lightspeed, has four paid plans. Every plan includes unlimited bandwidth and storage, and Ecwid charges no setup or transaction fees on any of them. The main thing that changes between plans is how many products you can sell and which sales channels and marketing tools you get.

Prices checked on 20 October 2026 on Ecwid’s pricing page, in US dollars and before tax.
| Plan | Monthly billing | Yearly billing | Yearly total | You save yearly | Products |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $5/mo | $5/mo | $60 | $0 | 10 |
| Venture | $35/mo | $29/mo | $348 | $72 | 100 plus digital goods |
| Business | $65/mo | $49/mo | $588 | $192 | 2,500 |
| Unlimited | $149/mo | $119/mo | $1,428 | $360 | Unlimited |
Here’s what separates the plans beyond the product limit:
| Feature | Starter | Venture | Business | Unlimited |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Add a store to any website | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Sell on Instagram and Facebook | No | Yes | Yes | Yes |

A few things can change what you actually pay:
- Payment processing: Ecwid takes no cut of your sales, but your payment provider, such as Stripe or PayPal, still charges its own fee per transaction.
- Marketplace apps: selling on Amazon, eBay or Walmart runs through third-party apps in the Ecwid App Market, and Ecwid warns that some charge monthly fees after their free trial.
- Tax: prices on Ecwid’s pricing page don’t include tax, and Ecwid collects US sales tax in states where the law requires it.
- Currency: depending on your billing country, Ecwid bills in US dollars, Australian dollars, British pounds, euros, Indian rupees or Mexican pesos, so your local price can differ from the table above.
Ecwid Monthly vs Yearly: Which Saves More?
Yearly billing is Ecwid’s main published discount. The pricing toggle says “save 16%”, and the Help Center says 15%, but the real saving depends on the plan: about 17% on Venture, about 25% on Business and about 20% on Unlimited. Starter costs $5 a month either way.
| Plan | 12 months on monthly billing | Yearly plan | You save |
|---|---|---|---|
| Venture | $420 | $348 | $72 |
| Business | $780 | $588 | $192 |
| Unlimited | $1,788 | $1,428 | $360 |
The catch is that Ecwid’s Help Center says subscription charges are non-refundable. If you cancel, future charges stop but you don’t get the rest of your year back. If you switch from yearly to monthly, Ecwid turns the unused time into credit, but any leftover amount too small to cover a full month isn’t refunded. My advice: start monthly, and switch to yearly once you’re sure the plan fits. Ecwid lets you switch from My Profile, then Billing and Plans, at any time, and an upgrade gives you prorated credit for what you’ve already paid.
Is There a Working Ecwid Promo Code?
No. Ecwid doesn’t publish promo codes on its site, and I couldn’t find one that Ecwid confirms anywhere. The percentages that used to sit on this page, from 15% to 55% off, weren’t backed by anything on Ecwid’s own pages.
Part of the confusion is that Ecwid has its own discount tools for store owners. On Venture and up, you can create discount coupons for your shoppers, and Ecwid’s Help Center explains how to set up Buy One Get One Free promotions in your store. Those are deals you give your customers, not discounts on your Ecwid subscription. If a coupon site shows an Ecwid code, check the total before you pay.
How to Claim Ecwid Coupons and Discounts in 5 Steps
- Open Ecwid’s pricing page and leave the toggle on Annual to see the yearly prices.
- Click Get started on the plan you want and create your Ecwid account.
- Add your store details and first products. Starter is enough to try the admin with up to 10 products.
- When you upgrade, choose Annual billing and pay by debit card, credit card or PayPal. There’s no coupon box to fill in.
- If you run a registered nonprofit, use the nonprofit form linked in the FAQ on Ecwid’s pricing page to ask for 6 months of Venture free.
What You Get With Ecwid
Ecwid started out as an e-commerce widget, which is where the name comes from, and that’s still its biggest strength: you can drop a full store into a site you already have instead of rebuilding everything. These are the parts that matter day to day:
- Add a store anywhere: embed your catalog on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or almost any site, or on several sites at once, and manage every order from one admin.
- Instant Site: if you don’t have a website yet, Ecwid’s code-free builder gives you 70+ templates and a free company.site address with a TLS certificate.
- Social and ad channels: sell on Instagram and Facebook from the Venture plan up, and connect Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest and Snapchat ads to your catalog.
- Payments: Ecwid works with 70+ payment providers, including PayPal and Stripe, and supports one-tap Apple Pay and Google Pay through Lightspeed Payments or Stripe.
- Security: Ecwid is a PCI DSS validated Level 1 Service Provider, the highest level for handling card data.
- Store management: automated tax calculations from Venture, inventory tracking, gift cards, pre-orders and an Android and iOS store management app.
The trade-off is that Ecwid is built for small and mid-size shops. If you want deeper design control or a huge app ecosystem, Shopify is the more common choice, and my guide to Shopify discount codes and trials shows what it costs to start there. For a plan-by-plan breakdown of Ecwid itself, see my Ecwid pricing guide.
Which Ecwid Plan Should You Buy?
- Starter if you sell a handful of products, or want to try the Ecwid admin cheaply before you commit.
- Venture if you sell up to 100 products or digital goods and want Instagram and Facebook selling, your own discount coupons and automated taxes.
- Business for most growing stores. Abandoned cart emails, marketplace selling, subscriptions, wholesale pricing and 2 staff accounts are the features that justify the jump, and yearly billing saves the most here in percentage terms.
- Unlimited if you have more than 2,500 products, a bigger team, or a physical shop that needs POS integration.
Ways to Pay Less on Ecwid
- Pay yearly once you’re sure: it saves $72 to $360 a year, with no code needed. Just remember that Ecwid’s subscription charges are non-refundable.
- Start small and upgrade: Ecwid applies prorated credit when you move to a higher plan, so you don’t lose what you’ve already paid.
- Pick the plan for your catalog today: the product limit is the main thing you pay for, so don’t buy Unlimited for a store with 200 products.
- Apply as a nonprofit: registered nonprofits can get 6 months of Venture free.
- Watch for seasonal sales: Ecwid’s pricing page doesn’t mention a seasonal sale right now, so check my Ecwid Black Friday deals page before you buy in November.

Ecwid Coupon and Discount FAQs
Quick answers to what people ask most before paying for Ecwid.
Not one I could verify. Ecwid doesn’t publish promo codes, and when I checked on 20 October 2026 its only published discounts were cheaper yearly billing and 6 months of Venture free for nonprofits.
Not for people who sign up on Ecwid directly. Plans start with Starter at $5 a month. Ecwid only lists a free plan, with up to 5 products, for Wix users who add Ecwid through Wix.
Ecwid Starter costs $5, Venture $35, Business $65 and Unlimited $149 a month on monthly billing, or $5, $29, $49 and $119 a month when you pay yearly.
Compared with 12 monthly payments, yearly billing saves $72 on Venture, $192 on Business and $360 on Unlimited. Starter costs $5 a month either way.
Ecwid’s Help Center says subscription charges are non-refundable. Cancelling stops future charges, and an upgrade to a higher plan gives you prorated credit for unused time.
No. Ecwid charges no setup or transaction fees on any plan, but your payment provider, such as Stripe or PayPal, still takes its own processing fee.
Final Word on Ecwid Coupons and Discounts
Ecwid is still one of the easiest ways to add a store to a website you already have, and its pricing is refreshingly flat: no transaction fees, and plans from $5 a month. Skip the fake coupon codes. Start on the plan that fits your catalog today, and switch to yearly billing once you know you’re staying, since that’s the one real Ecwid discount and it’s worth up to $360 a year.
Hello Finnich,
That was a very detailed review, thank you I have a question. Says You can’t edit product urls does that mean ecwid can’t work with Amazon affiliate links.
Hello Finnich,
I had a good experience with ECWID until I decided to close my online shop. I was on the annual billing system and my year ended on November 12, 2017. I switched to Basic the first week of November as it’s supposed to be free, and I also changed my credit card number. On November 12th, ECWID tried to get the invoice for the next year even though I changed it to the basic account, but it failed because the credit card number was changed only changed the number by the card company) and billed me for the whole year. I emailed ECWID for a refund and haven’t received a response. So be very careful in giving them the card information.
I am paying for an ECWID car and it works fine, but for the second time my traffic went on NIL. Nobody on your team can find out. They told me to use WordPress (I run it in mnm.ca/m) and with their plugin they want SEO to be automatic. It works very well until the day when nothing is left. For the second time, all Google ads disappear and only error pages appear in the Google Console. So if you rely on a search engine to drive traffic to your website, I recommend staying away from an Ajax shopping cart. SEO is just a nightmare, Google still doesn’t track Ajax properly and relying on the ecwid plugin can cost you huge losses.
