iMyFone D-Back pricing starts at $39.99 for one month, and the plan most people should buy is the $71.99 Lifetime licence, which is cheaper than two months of the monthly plan and never renews. There is a free version, but it only scans and previews your lost files; you pay when you want to actually recover them.
I checked every number on this page against iMyFone’s own D-Back buy page on 26 October 2026. Those prices are part of iMyFone’s Halloween sale, which its deals page dates October 21 to November 5, so I also list the regular prices you will see once the sale ends. Below you will find the plan table, what each plan actually gets you, the extra costs hiding at checkout, and the cheapest way to pay.

Content Outline
D-Back Lifetime: $71.99 one-time, was $139.99
One payment covers iPhone, WhatsApp and PC data recovery on 5 devices and 3 PCs with free lifetime updates, at the Halloween sale price.
That Lifetime deal is the one I would take. If you only need to rescue one batch of photos or messages this week, the monthly plan is cheaper up front, but remember to cancel it.

iMyFone D-Back Plans Explained
1-Month Plan: $39.99
The monthly plan gives you every recovery feature on up to 3 phones or tablets and 2 computers. It auto-renews every month, so it only makes sense if you have one urgent recovery job and you cancel straight after. Even at the sale price, two months cost more than the Lifetime licence.
1-Year Plan: $59.49
The yearly plan has the same features and the same 3-device, 2-PC limit, and works out to about $4.96 a month on sale. It renews every year, which is the main reason I do not recommend it: for $12.50 more you get the Lifetime plan with more devices and no renewal at all.
Lifetime Plan: $71.99
The Lifetime licence is a single payment that covers 5 devices and 3 PCs, with free lifetime upgrades and lifetime customer support. iMyFone marks it Best Value, and in this case I agree. Data loss tends to happen more than once, and having recovery software ready without another bill is worth a lot when it does.
Business Plan
There is also an annual Business plan on a separate tab of the buy page, with 7/24 technical support and one year of free upgrades. Its price depends on how many licences you buy, so check the Business tab for a quote that matches your team size.
What You Get in Every Paid D-Back Plan
- iPhone and iPad data recovery for messages, photos, contacts, call history and third-party app data.
- WhatsApp and LINE chat recovery.
- PC and hard drive recovery for Windows and Mac drives, USB sticks and SD cards.
- AI photo and video repair for damaged files.
- Free updates, free customer support, and a licence key sent within minutes of payment.
If you are still deciding whether D-Back is the right tool at all, my iMyFone D-Back review covers how the scan and recovery work in practice.
Extra Costs and Limits to Watch
The biggest surprise is the Cloud Backup add-on. The D-Back buy buttons place a 7-day free Cloud Backup trial with 5GB of storage in your cart alongside the licence. After day 8 it bills $4.99 a month with the monthly plan, $12.99 a year with the yearly plan, or a one-time $9.99 with the Lifetime plan. If you do not want cloud storage, remove it before you pay.
The other thing to know is that the 30-day money-back guarantee is narrower than it sounds. iMyFone’s refund policy lists specific cases, such as a duplicate purchase or a technical problem support cannot solve within 30 days, rather than a no-questions refund. Run the free scan first and only buy once the preview shows the files you need.
How to Pay Less for iMyFone D-Back
- Buy during a seasonal sale. The Halloween prices on this page are 34% to 49% below the regular ones.
- Pick Lifetime over Yearly: it costs $12.50 more today and you never pay a renewal.
- Use the free version first so you never pay for a recovery that will not work.
- Remove the Cloud Backup trial at checkout if you already back up to iCloud or Google Drive.
- Cancel a monthly plan right after your recovery, before it renews.
If D-Back still feels expensive, I compared cheaper options in my iMyFone D-Back alternatives roundup and in the Tenorshare UltData alternatives list, where D-Back is one of the picks.
iMyFone D-Back Pricing FAQs
On 26 October 2026 the D-Back buy page listed the 1-Month Plan at $39.99, the 1-Year Plan at $59.49 and the Lifetime Plan at $71.99, all as Halloween sale prices. The regular prices shown were $69.99, $89.99 and $139.99.
D-Back has a free version that scans your device and previews what it can recover. Actually saving the recovered files back to your device or computer needs a paid licence.
Yes. The 1-Month and 1-Year plans auto-renew, and iMyFone says it emails you before the renewal date. You can cancel the renewal at any time from iMyFone's sales FAQ page.
iMyFone offers a 30-day money-back guarantee, but its refund policy only covers listed cases such as duplicate purchases or a technical problem support cannot fix within 30 days. Use the free scan first so you know D-Back can see your files.
The Lifetime Plan at $71.99 costs less than two months of the monthly plan, covers 5 devices and 3 PCs instead of 3 and 2, and never renews. The 1-Month Plan only makes sense for a single urgent recovery.
The buy buttons add a 7-day free Cloud Backup trial with 5GB of storage. After day 8 it bills $4.99 a month, $12.99 a year or $9.99 once, depending on the D-Back plan, so remove it at checkout if you do not want it.
Bottom Line on iMyFone D-Back Pricing
D-Back is not the cheapest recovery tool, but the Lifetime plan at $71.99 is fair for software that covers your phone, your chats and your computer drives on up to 8 devices in total. Try the free scan, make sure your files show up in the preview, then buy the Lifetime licence while the sale price lasts and skip the Cloud Backup add-on unless you want it.
